A DECADE SINCE IT’S INCEPTION: CENTRE FOR ENVIRONMENTAL EFFICIENCY

CEE attains 10 years today since it was constituted on February 2nd 2013. This was constituted to promote, research and develop Environmental Efficiency and Carrying Capacity Theories which were evolved through the PhD dissertation. We are strongly convinced that Environmental Efficiency and Carrying Capacity Theories can turn the world to a better trajectory where Environment and Development are brought hand in hand.

As improvisations to EE&CC theories inter-generational and intra-generational performance indicators are evolved by which one can check and balance any system involving humans. This is the most rightful Environment Management System and can be taken up at any level from individual, family, community, city, state, nation and at the global scale. At this juncture it is appropriate to repost the medium blog which was published in 2019 for those who have not read the article and who are curious to know about the journey with intermittent halts.

We trustees alone cannot reach the required level unless there are collaborations/ synergies. This is an effort to make everybody in the system happy and where righteousness and ethics prevail both intra-generational and inter-generational.
We keep our fingers crossed to see that these ideas for the Global to Local Environmental Management Systems are acknowledged and collaborated by capable agencies whose voice would be heard by the nation and the world.
I thank all CEE Interns and Volunteers who are helping us to continue our journey which is virtually a labyrinth and exploring the way out with the fire not being doused. Also I thank all the Eminent Institutions who hosted me to hear my ideas.
I am thrilled to inform that this day rightly coincides with our daughter’s birthday who is now a trustee contributing to our efforts. Also I acknowledge the contributions given by our son who is a visual artist and who too is a trustee.
